Halo: CE Anniversary - Achievement Breakdown

The Achievements found in Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary are a fantastic challenge even for veteran players. Each level has its own unique challenges, so it's a good idea to read up on the Achievements before starting each level. Many are obtainable through the course of normal gameplay.

The Achievements found in Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary have been broken down into four sections: Normal Progression Achievements, Difficulty Achievements, Collectibles Achievements, and Heroic Tasks; all of which, combined, make up the Perfect 1,000 Roadmap.

Step 1: Find a friend, play through the game on Legendary difficulty. Having a friend makes the difficult fight of getting to the end of the game much easier, and you also pick up the Living Legend and Co-op difficulty Achievements. After you have finished the game on the hardest difficulty, go back and beat your favorite level on the lesser difficulties (Normal and Heroic), to earn Standard Operating Brocedure and Brovershield. Alternatively, you can play through the game on Legendary yourself and use a friend only to earn the three cooperative Achievements on one level.

Step 2: Find the collectibles. If you have like-minded Achievement-chasing friends, then you can work together to do this while you are playing through Legendary. However, some Skulls are extremely difficult to earn on Legendary since you are often just focused on staying alive. Use the Terminals and Skulls chapters to help locate the hidden goodies.

Step 3: Perform Heroic Tasks. The rest of the Achievements are difficult extra tasks required on each level. Some of the Achievements are made easier by having a friend come along, so it helps to get these while playing cooperatively. Heroic or Legendary difficulties are required for each of these Achievements.
